I don't like writing negative reviews, but I'd like to save someone else the hassle I had and money lost.
The lamp arrived with a broken bulb. I replaced the bulb and plugged the lamp in for several hours. The colored "goo" never separated - just sat in a lump at the bottom of the glass. The glass got quite hot, so I feel the lamp was very old. I spent nearly $10 to return it and was reimbursed the original cost of the lamp with the shipping, but it still cost me $10 for nothing. |

| I ordered the Metallic Green Motion lamp for my niece for Christmas. It was blue and it does not work. And since I got my Christmas shopping done early and recieved this November 24, I am two days past the return date and can't get my money back. |

Wrong color of wax

| The liquid is very murky and i got one with the wax color red. I was so looking forward to the green that i thought i would be getting. There wasn't any way for me to choose the color but the product says "Metallic Green Motion Lamp". I deducted 1 star for the wrong color and another for the murky liquid. |

| This was exactly what the person I bought this for wanted and they still like it. However, the water often becomes very murky and just as often the "lava" doesn't flow up to the top, but just stays on the bottom in a big hill. But it's really awesome when it works correctly. |

| My son loves his new lava lamp. We searched for a green one for several weeks and finally ended up buying it online. He loves the color green and the lamp looks great in his room. |
Can't specify Wax Color - Disappointing

| We ordered this "Silver Based Metalic Wax Motion Lamp" whose picture showed silver wax. However, we received one with red wax. There was no way to choose the color of the wax so it was disappointing. |
