| I have had several of these lava lamps before, two of them the same color as this one. The lamps I had before worked fine. I bought them all at a local Spencers store. I tried to get this one to work for a couple of weeks, but the lava would rarely flow. Most of the time it would just stay at the bottom. I don't know if it was over-heating or not. I ended up returning it and received a refund. These lamps are nice when the work right. I like this color combination the best. It's a bummer when they don't work right. Some of them, like the one I bought here, are defective. I would suggest you go to a local Spencers if you can and get one there. Then you can return or exchange it more easily, even though Amazon.com paid for return shipping. They are also cheaper at Spencers. |

| Works great! READ the instructions - "Don't use over 8 hours a day". Don't listen to people who say they had them years ago and ran them 24/7. Its not the same lamp. I put on a timer for 8 hours a day and its been running everyday for over 2 years. Finally had to change the bulb. Great product. Quick ship. |

| This is a good size, heats slowly but that is standard for lava lamps and is a very pretty mix of colors. I was concerned because some reviews said the water was cloudy and never cleared but we did not have that problem. If you like lava lamps this is a great purchase. |

| I should have paid more attention to other buyers' reviews. This is a nice looking lava lamp, but the lava does not "flow". It floats to the top, then to the bottom and does not move after that. We followed the instructions, but the lamp just doesn't work properly. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. You will be disappointed and will need to return it to Amazon. |

| I bought this for my 11-year old daughter and she LOVES it! It came nicely packaged and was very easy to assemble and start up. The colors are nice and bright and it really doesn't gets unbearably hot like you would think. Great buy! |
