This lamp is adorable. It is very colorful and pretty in my daughter’s new Ariel princess room. My only complaint is, you can’t just turn on the lamp by the lamp switch or the switch on the wall. In addition, you have to press this little star on the right side, which can be hard to find in the dark. Then the lamp lights up, Ariel moves, and you hear Sebastian’s and Ariel’s voices reciting phrases from the movie. It’s very cute, and both my son and daughter are very entertained by it. But sometimes you want to just turn on a light in the room. So I moved another lamp to the location that is connected to the main switch on the wall, and moved the Ariel lamp to the dresser.
